In this project we tried to make giant bubbles. For the bubble mixture, we simply used a recipe found on the Web. As for the wand, we experimented with various way of attaching the cotton string to the sticks until we came up with what could be the simplest wand possible: it only involves two sticks, one piece of string and one knot. We drilled two holes, one just above the other, at the end of one stick and we threaded the string through (see bottom right picture). On the other stick, we drill a larger hole, threaded both ends of the string through and tied them together in a knot wider than the hole (bottom left picture). That’s it!
